The problem
When Cigna moved into the former Vanbreda offices on the Plantin and Moretuslei, it was found that the acoustics in the offices fitted by COUST acoustics were perfectly fine. However, there were still poor acoustics in the non-adapted rooms, which they wanted to address. The client asked us for acoustic solutions that would also decorate the work spaces aesthetically, to make it pleasant to work there.
Our solution
Therefore, we furnished the rooms with beautiful, large wall panels. We placed only COUSTpanels (on wall brackets) so they could be easily moved/moved later. It was quite an undertaking to lug all these panels, measuring up to 3 by 2 meters, up the windy outside stairs three stories! But the result was worth it: the employees now had a view of razor-sharp, beautiful landscapes on the wall... What a relief!
Result
In the call center area, we placed some screens (COUSTscreens) in colors according to the company's corporate identity. A few BREEZE panels that we hung between the different desk islands completed our assignment. At the customer's exceptional request, our craftsmen even worked through the weekend. In this way, we ensured that our customer's activities were disrupted as little as possible.
