The Crelan agency Engelen & Partners in Lanaken was completely redesigned. A stylish desk with 3 adjoining, individual offices for each financial advisor. Beautiful glass tilt doors and fresh floor tiles on the floor. Lots of hard materials and thus ideal for poor acoustics. The high reverberation in this bank branch was very distracting both for the customers and the employees, who suffered from concentration problems and fatigue. And when you're about your savings, a fresh, focused bank advisor is not a luxury. So Kris Engelen contacted Coust to fix his problem.

Our solution

A reverberation test was conducted in all rooms. As much as 1.4 seconds of reverberation was measured in the reception area and 1 second in the other office spaces. A total of 20 m² of Coust solutions were required to transform all this into an office with a pleasant acoustic value of 0.7 seconds. The reception area was decorated with a giant COUSTwall (wall panel) with a print and in the separate offices COUSTpanels (wall panel) were hung with a print that Kris had carefully selected on Shutterstock.

Immediately after installation, Kris sent us a blazingly enthusiastic email in which he spoke in superlatives about the stunning result. Never had he dared hope that the effect would be so good. Moreover, he wrote that COUST's acoustic panels were not only effective, but also beautiful. From now on, the clients of Crelan Lanaken can discuss their investments in peace in a pleasant setting and with a focused advisor.
